R.B. Murray Company

The most recent of the third generation Murray family members to join R.B. Murray Company, Ryan Murray is breaking into new and relevant commercial real estate territory. Having successfully completed coursework to achieve accreditation, Ryan is one of the state’s first commercial real estate professionals to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) status.

Ryan has also earned the CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER® (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. The CPM® designation is awarded to real estate managers who have met the Institute’s rigorous requirements in the areas of professional education, examination and experience. CPM® Members must also abide by a rigorous Code of Professional Ethics that is strictly enforced by the Institute.

Recently Ryan has achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation (CCIM). A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

As a LEED AP and real estate professional, Ryan provides clients with insight into sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

Murray graduated with Distinction Honors with a B.A. in Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Now serving as a Vice President, Murray is involved with the company’s sales and property management divisions. Ryan also helps oversee the company’s IT and software needs to ensure the company remains ahead of the technology curve.

Ryan is the only LEED AP real estate professional in Southwest Missouri, and one of the first Real Estate Professionals in the state of Missouri to achieve this designation. Ryan is also one of a very select few real estate professionals in Southwest Missouri to achieve the CPM designation.

Ryan serves on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Missouri, and is a graduate of the Leadership Springfield program, and is a member of Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast.
